DogeCoin is a new crypto currency founded in December of 2013 which was a joke about Bitcoin!

Actually it got a value but it's not too much but in Doge we truth and it will sure get the same value as BTC!

Once you got a wallet now you may say: What do I have to do to get any of them?

1- Earn Dogecoins with faucets

Like in Bitcoin or another crypto currency, you can get free of that coin with faucets. If you don't know what's a faucet, a faucet is a free website that gives you free coins of any crypto currency you've chosen.

Here you have an updated list of dogecoin faucets which are not dry:

- www.dogefaucet.com - Pays more or less 1.5 DOGES.
- www.indogewetrust.com - Pays 1.5 DOGES + "install gentoo" promo code 0.79 DOGES
- cryptobucket.com/dogecoin_faucet.php - Weekly payouts
- www.cryptospout.com/faucet.php?coin=DOGE - Pays 5 DOGES.

They accept some payouts from the same dogecoin address but they don't pay if you do that many times (at least for me).

2- Earn Dogecoins mining

Mining is quite difficult if you don't have a good GPU, CPU or ASIC for Scrypt. But you can do it too. First download a miner:

- If you have NVIDIA use cudaminer.
- If you have AMD use GUIMiner.
- If you want to use the CPU use CPUMINER.

After you downloaded one, you need to choose a pool. There are many but I like to use HashFaster's DogeCoin Pool.
You need to sign up for an account and then go to Getting started for the command line and the stratum, port and workers.

You also need to create at least a worker.
