How to generate a vanity address for any cryptocurrency?

Hello! Today I show how to generate your own custom/vanity Bitcoin, LiteCoin, DogeCoin, etc with the prefix you want.

Let's start with a small explaining.

For generating a custom address (for example 1SaMPLE2gbGu8HJv37hdwzreNuq7Vubksq) you need to bruteforce the private key. You have the public key (which is the address you want) but you don't know the private key.

The program we will use is VanityGen (download clicking it). VanityGen will use the CPU (or the GPU if you use other version) for bruteforcing it.

Once you downloaded it you need to use the commandline and put:
vanitygen.exe 1(Whatever you want)
Remember that in Bitcoin the adresses starts always with 1.

The difficulty depends of the number of chars it has after the 1. If it has 5 or more it's difficult to do that with CPU. Use GPU instead for that calculations (use oclvanitygen.exe instead for that).

Well but I want to generate it for LiteCoin, DogeCoin, or even RabbitCoin! No problem. First you need to get a sample address of your currency. Then go to
http://darkgamex.ch:2751/q/decode_address/ + HERE PUT THE WALLET.
For example: http://darkgamex.ch:2751/q/decode_address/DDfkpuHCCTRiUcQ7QqhoyowRebvmKDVdDe For DogeCoin.

You will see 1e at the beginning. Now convert it to Decimal: 30 (you can use this web).

Right! Now run vanitygen.exe with this commandline:

vanitygen.exe -X [HERE THE DECIMAL YOU GOT] [Prefix of the coin][AnyThing]
Practical Example: vanitygen.exe -X 30 DSample

For other coins it will be the same process.
Here I give some details for coins:

-DogeCoin: vanitygen.exe -X 30 D[YOUR VANITY]
-LiteCoin: vanitygen.exe -X 48 L[YOUR VANITY]
-DopeCoin: vanitygen.exe -X 8 4[YOUR VANITY]

Enjoy!

Why are there so many crypto-currencies?

Hmm. A good question. Litecoin, Dogecoin, SlothCoin, FlappyCoin, SpainCoin, etc etc etc... Many names!

The main reason is easy: Bitcoin is OPEN SOURCE!
This basicly means that anyone can copy, edit or do anything with it. A big error. Or not?

Making it open source you allow to fix some bugs and adding new features (like KGW) or changing it's algorithm from SHA256 to Scrypt or SHA3 (for example).

Another good thing about making it open source is that you give all the reason why you should use that currency: there are no hidden codes or cheats from Bitcoin's authors.

The bad thing of this: there are a lot of stupid coins. Many jokes and just copy-paste Litecoin clons. Some of them looks promising but most of them are useless.

What do you think?

42coin value is actually 1000BTC (more or less 562.400$ each!)

It's not a joke! Extremely rare and valuable coin has appeared! Just 42 coins to be mined but they're very difficult to mine. Just the best computers can solve that!

If you discover one of this you can say: "I'm rich" :P. All of those coins (when they get mined) are 23.620.800 $. Wow.
The bad part of mine this is the high difficulty. There aren't any living faucet as they all got dried when it got that price.

Is it profitable? The answer will be NO even if you have a great computer. You will need at least a server or a really powerful computer.

So sad we can't mine it (we can but it's like saying impossible).

Why you shouldn't mine Scrypt?

Today many coins are based on the Scrypt algorithm for their block finding process. But, why many people says it's not good?

Scrypt is a big algorithm because it was made for one thing: have a good difficulty to earn a reward.

So knowing some basics of this.... why is it bad?
If it's difficult, CPU, GPU or ASICS need to make a lot of hashes to get at least a good quantity of khash per second. So it means your hardware can get damaged as it tries to get the same hash rate as SHA which is more light to generate.

That means basicly that you need to use SHA256//Keccak's based coins if you want to keep your GPU usable. Example of coins that uses SHA:

-SlothCoin (SHA3 aka Keccak)
-Bitcoin (SHA256)
-RainbowCoin (SHA256)
-DEM (SHA256)
-TigerCoin (SHA256)
-WeAreSatoshi (SHA256)

Conclusion: Mine SHA

Enjoy mining SHA!

What is a crypto-currency faucet?

Faucets (also known as water-bowls or taps) are websites that provides free crypto-currency's coins. They give you a small amount of your desired coin.

With big coins, the small amounts need to pay fees. To avoid fees they keep some of your amount into temporal wallets online and when they reach some quantity (with Bitcoins is more or less 0.00005500 BTC) they send you the currency.

And why do the people give free money? Faucet's owners cover the costs with ads. Many people come to earn free BTC, LTC, DOGE, ...

Faucets are a good way to let people use crypto-currencies. So please don't abuse them!

There are different types of faucets. Some faucets give you free coins just clicking a button. Other faucets give you coins viewing ads or playing the "ROLL Game".

There are hundreds of them. Just search in this blog for your favourite crypto-currency and you will see some faucets. Or in Google put "AnyCoin Faucet".

LiteCoin is the future! See how to earn LTC

LiteCoin actually is one of the most famous crypto-currencies in the world. After Bitcoin's failure of making just 29.000.000 now LTC and Scrypt based coins don't have this error!

Why LiteCoin? LiteCoin's value actually is ~17$. Starting in 2011 now this Scrypt based coin looks really promising. Bitcoin is actually "impossible" basicly to generate but what about this coin?

LiteCoin has 84.000.000 of coins. This means it's much easier to generate than BTC and each block has 50 LTC.

So, once you got the wallet and some wallet identifiers now what?
Like many cryptocurrencies, there are "faucets" which are websites that gives you free LTC or DOGES or RBBT or any coin!
Mostly they give you a normal amount of cash depending on the dificulty and how many coins are already mined.

I will give here some ways to earn LTC.

1- Earn LiteCoin mining

LiteCoin mining actually is easy. Not as easy as RabbitCoin but not as difficult as Bitcoin.
LiteCoin uses Scrypt so we need to use a Scrypt miner. If you have nVidia you can use Cudaminer but if you have AMD you can use cgminer or guiminer.

Now, you need to join a pool. Solo-mining is like doing nothing if you don't have a good computer. I like to use hypernova.pw. It has a nice interface and it's very profitable. I got 0.00156133 LTC in 15 mins with a GTX 680 (although nVidia graphic cards are really bad for mining). If you have an AMD graphic card it will go faster don't worry.

Register on any pool you want and then set up your miner with your worker/s and password.

2- Earn LiteCoin with faucets (not many profit)

LTC4You.com - Earn 2 uLTC (it can be more but it's very difficult) each 1 hour.

litecoin.altcoinfaucet.net - Earn 0.00000001 LTC.

As you see, mining is much profitable than faucets.

Good luck with LTC!

Slothcoin - The new future coin?

I recenly checked for new coins and saw an interesting one. It's called SlothCoin (Sloth) and launch will be the 17th of March. Sounds interesting? Let's read the specifications.

-The algorithm is SHA3 (not Scrypt like all coins).
-There are 100,000,000,000 coins (a lot!)

As they say:

To become a succesful currency, it has to be open to anyone and everyone. SHA3 gives us this opportunity. The SHA3 encryption algorithm is still in it's early stages and a lot of experimenting is done with it. SHA3 has proven to equalize the line between nVida and AMD video cards, to use less energy for more hashing power and to be more secure in encrypting transactions. These things are all great but, there are 2 other major advantages to SHA3.
There are no multipools currently hashing on SHA3, as it is inefficient because there are too few SHA3 coins.
There are currently no ASICS for SHA3 in development.
These 2 advantages will give us a currency that is open to anyone and a currency open to anyone will bring a lot of people into the cryptocurrency world. Whether they are here for the fun or here to make money, everyone is welcome.

SHA3 is a fast algorithm. It's easy to create them instead of crash your nVidia or AMD graphic card for solving Scrypt.

The reward system is:

Block 1-100:                              10,000 Sloth
Block 100-100,000:                     500,000 Sloth
Block 100,000-200,000:            250,000 Sloth
Block 200,000-300,000:             125,000 Sloth
Block 300,000-400,000:               62,500 Sloth
Block 400,000-500,000:               31,250 Sloth
Block 500,000-600,000:                15,625 Sloth

Looking nice. Let's wait for the launch!

Are you interested in DogeCoin?

DogeCoin is a new crypto currency founded in December of 2013 which was a joke about Bitcoin!

Actually it got a value but it's not too much but in Doge we truth and it will sure get the same value as BTC!

Once you got a wallet now you may say: What do I have to do to get any of them?

1- Earn Dogecoins with faucets

Like in Bitcoin or another crypto currency, you can get free of that coin with faucets. If you don't know what's a faucet, a faucet is a free website that gives you free coins of any crypto currency you've chosen.

Here you have an updated list of dogecoin faucets which are not dry:

www.dogefaucet.com - Pays more or less 1.5 DOGES.
www.indogewetrust.com - Pays 1.5 DOGES + "install gentoo" promo code 0.79 DOGES
- cryptobucket.com/dogecoin_faucet.php - Weekly payouts
- www.cryptospout.com/faucet.php?coin=DOGE - Pays 5 DOGES.

They accept some payouts from the same dogecoin address but they don't pay if you do that many times (at least for me).

2- Earn Dogecoins mining

Mining is quite difficult if you don't have a good GPU, CPU or ASIC for Scrypt. But you can do it too. First download a miner:

- If you have NVIDIA use cudaminer.
- If you have AMD use GUIMiner.
- If you want to use the CPU use CPUMINER.

After you downloaded one, you need to choose a pool. There are many but I like to use HashFaster's DogeCoin Pool.
You need to sign up for an account and then go to Getting started for the command line and the stratum, port and workers.

You also need to create at least a worker.

WARNING: If your computer doesn't have a good ventilation it may cause overheat and permanent damages. Please be careful.

That's all! DogeCoin stills not having an advertisement system to earn viewing them.

To the moon!

Bitcoin Plus - Earn Bitcoins mining online

Mining BTC actually is really difficult to get the right algorithm. Many people are trying to get at least 0.000001 BTC but it's very difficult.

But, why not doing it online? Easy as clicking a button.

BITCOIN PLUS

Mine BTC online with this website. It uses the CPU to generate the algorithm in their pool. The fee is 7%.

Their website is really easy to use and it just takes a bit of the CPU performance because any other miner can damage your CPU. But this website doesn't.

What's the best?

- Really easy to use.
- You can mine for others without any registration (like workers).
- There is a progress bar which says you the estimated time to get the profit.

What's the worst?

- Actually any of the Bitcoin pools or miners aren't profitable and the value won't increase so it's a waste of electricity.
- The bit coin payout for each block is very very very low.

JayBux - Another way to earn free BTC

Hello,

I saw a new website and I decided to test it. It's JayBux.

JayBux pays you more or less 0.006605 mBTC for each ad. It's looking a good web to earn BTC. Let's test it!

Gold Bars: Are you ready to start mining?

The new cryptocurrency is going to start today in some hours! Let's prepare our miners to get it soon.

Gold Bars specifications:
Algorithm: Scrypt
Max bars: Only 400,000 (good number of coins)
Block Time: 60 seconds (For fast confirmations)
Difficulty Retarget: Kimoto's gravity well
Block Initial Reward: 0.1 bars per block

Block halving: after 200,000 bars have been minted

Looking good no? Let's start mining!

PiggyCoin - The children's coin

Well, as you sure know, there are tons of new cryptocurrencies based on Scrypt algorithm (LiteCoin or DogeCoin project based mainly). Most of them aren't going to be used or mined. But this coin is different.

PiggyCoin is the coin for the children. This is what the creators says. The mining is quite easy I generated a lot in a second.
The problem of this coin is the purpose. I don't think is good that a 5th years old child manages the money like that if this takes some value.

PiggyCoin is another of the hundrends there are or it's an innovation? Comment it!

[BTC] How to earn free Bitcoins?

Bitcoin is a revolucionary cryptocurrency which right now it's more than a hundred dollar! So you may dicover it and now you say.... What to do to earn Bitcoins?

Here there are some tips to earn Bitcoins:

1. Earn Bitcoins viewing ads

You can earn money by viewing some ads. You have:

BTCClicks

BTCClicks pays more or less 0.00054 mBTC for each visit to a website. You just enter the link, you wait 10-15 seconds and you earn it. That easy! There are a lot of ads to see so you will have always something to earn from.
Payout is done with 0.1 mBTC.

CoinAd

CoinAd pays a bit more but without many ads to see. It pays ~0.00398 mBTC for a 20 seconds ad. Withdraw is done when you got 0.15 mBTC.

BitVisitor

BitVisitor doesn't pay too much but stills a good website. Pays ~2.4 uBTC (which is more or less 0.00024 mBTC) for a 5 mins ad. Payout is done every 100 uBTC.

BitcoinClix

BitcoinClix gives you as they say:

10 seconds ad: 0.0007 mBTC

BitCoin4YOU

Easy to earn. You just insert your address and you see an ad for 2 mins. You earn ~0.0024 mBTC for each ad.

2. Earn Bitcoins with faucets

A faucet or a water bowl is a website that provides a small amount of Bitcoins. Most of them are processed with CoinBox.me and when you earn 0.00005500 BTC then it transfers automatically your Bitcoins to your account.

Most are based on the same script so you can use a bot and just put the reCAPTCHA. But here is the list. I divided them in 2 groups: Using CoinBox.me or using bitchest.me.
